It's nice to finally see something nice and uplifting being shown on the news. (YouTube)

Autistic Teen's Hoop Dreams - a CBS News story about an autistic teen who was primarily the high school teams "waterboy" who gets his chance to play in the last game of the year, and runs with that chance.

They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse in Your Soul (YouTube)

They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse in Your Soul
This was the other song that the typing teacher used. Particle Man was always the first one to start off with, because it has a slower beat, but then we moved up to Birdhouse in Your Soul as the beat is a little faster, but just as prominent, which makes it good for hitting the keys and following the rhythm. Of course, back then I sucked at typing and really didn't get good at it until I went to college. And now it's even funnier to hear They Might Be giants doing theme songs for shows on The Disney Channel.

They Might Be Giants - Particle Man (Tiny Toons) (YouTube)

They Might Be Giants and Tiny Toons, this time it's Particle Man.
The thing I always remember about this song is that there was a typing teacher at the middle school I attended for 7th and 8th Grade, and she used Particle Man to help teach rhythm in the typing class that everyone was required to take in 7th grade. Good times, yeah....good times.

What more is there to say?

Bobby McFerrin - Ave Maria (YouTube)

Just goes to show what an amazing talent Bobby McFerrin really is, that he can learn something like the Bach piece that he performs, with only his vocal cords.
